- This Request for Quote (RFQ) is for a Purchase Order to provide and install an Aluminum Floating Fishing Pier at Rough River Lake, KY. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms, clauses and conditions incorporated herein. Construction will begin within 10 calender days from Notice to Proceed and be completed NLT 60 calender days from Notice to Proceed. One award will be made from this RFQ. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business, under NAICS code 238990 ($15.0 million). Method of Payment under this contract will be Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to a commercial bank account specified by the Contractor. Note: There is a bonding requirement for this procurement action. Quotes will not be accepted for quantities less than the quantities specified in the price breakout schedule. Failure to submit a unit price for all items listed will be considered as a material deviation from the requirements of the Request for Quote (RFQ) and the quote will be rejected. Note: The contract award will be based on Low Price to the Government. In addition to the completed price breakout schedule/price quote, the Offeror must complete their Representations and Certifications located in the solicitation. Electronic submittals will be accepted. Fax submittals will not be accepted. NOTE: If submittals are mailed they must be sent through UPS or FedEx. Submittals sent through USPS may not be accepted. For site visit questions, contact the K. Adam Warren at 270-257-2061. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov) prior to award of a contract. All proposed contractors are highly encouraged to review FAR Clause 52.232-33 Payments by Electronic Funds Transfer - System for Award Management, which indicates "All payments by the Government under this contract shall be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT)." Those not currently registered can obtain registration by going to the website http://www.SAM.gov. The process can usually be completed from 24 to 48 hours after submission. Contractors will need to obtain a DUNS number for processing their registration. If you do not already have a DUNS number, one can be obtained from Dun and Bradstreet by calling 1-800-333-0505. Refer to www.SAM.gov for information formerly found in CCR, EPLS, ORCA and FedReg.
