- Description
- The US Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, Soldier Weapons Contracting Center (ACC-NJ-SW) on behalf of the Project Manager Crew Served Weapons (PM-CSW) has a requirement for Boresight Telescopes to be used on the M153 Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS). The Boresight Telescope shall be manufactured in accordance with AR-PD-157 (see Point of Contact below to obtain this document), the Request for Proposal (RFP) and Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, supplies, services, facilities, and equipment to perform the SOW and RFP requirements. Following the release of the RFP, any interested sources may submit a response to said RFP, which will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a RFP nor does it obligate the Government to issue a RFP. No action is required until the RFP is released. The Government is not liable for any costs incurred in response to this notice. The RFP will be released to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website and is anticipated to occur on or about 24 June 2016 with proposals due within 31 days of when the RFP is released (see RFP for actual due date). Interested parties are encouraged to monitor FedBizOpps for the release of the RFP. This acquisition will be 100% set-aside for Small Business Offerors. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333314 and the Size Standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to award one Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with firm fixed priced delivery orders. This contract will be for five years with priced quantity ranges. The minimum ordering obligation (minimum guarantee) is expected to be 35 telescopes and First Article Test (FAT). The maximum quantity of telescopes to be procured is 8,000 and the expected delivery rate is 30 telescopes per month. This contract will include the First Article Approval clauses.
