Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE “ NAVAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIVE SERVICE DATE: June 17, 2016 The Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DoN), Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS), hereby gives notice of intent to award a Sole Source Commercial Buy contract under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) śOnly One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements ť to FARO Technologies, Inc., P.O. Box 116908 Atlanta, GA 30368 for the following items: CLIN0001: FARO CZ Point Cloud, QTY 10 This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation documents are available and requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88 dated 16 May 2016 and DFARS Change Notice 20160510. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed contract action is 334513. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement via email in Microsoft Word format with a file size less than 5MB to Juricka Nawrozzada, Contract Specialist, via email: juricka.nawrozzada@ncis.navy.mil, Subject Line: Response to NOI N63285-16-SU-00874 no later than Friday, June 24, 2016 10:00 AM EST. All information submitted should support the offeror ™s capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror ™s bona fide capability to provide these services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source Award.
