Description
This requirement is to provide the New Orleans District with diving services when they are required in support of the District's mission. The work to be performed shall be in support of navigation, flood control, environmental projects, and other Corps of Engineers related missions, to include: diving services and equipment to investigate, survey, and/or remove designated obstructions and sunken vessels. The Contractor shall provide all labor, fuel, transportation, equipment, and supplies necessary for the performance of diving services on a task order basis. The intent is to award a commercial service, firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract. The period of performance will be one base year with four option years and is estimated to begin on or around 17 September 2016. The total capacity of this contract will be $2,000,000.00 or five years, whichever is arrived at first. The solicitation will issue on or about 7 July 2016, with Request for Proposals (RFP) due on or about 6 August 2016. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business, and the NAICS Code is 561990. The intent is to evaluate the proposals using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15. Technical factors will be listed and defined in the solicitation. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on FedBizOps (www.fbo.gov). You will need the adobe acrobat reader for.pdf files (www.adobe.com) in order to open most files posted by the New Orleans District. You are encouraged, for marketing purposes, to register as an Interested Vendor in FedBizOps (www.fbo.gov).
