- RFI & CAPABILITY SURVEY The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to repair the following C-5 BIP: NOUN NSN P/N Backup Integrated Processor 5895-01-527-5185UC 8344400G004 This requirement is for repair services. Our repair services strategy is 3 one year ordering periods and will continue through FY20. The projected quantities will be Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) of 9ea. per year. This acquisition will benefit the USAF by providing repair services for the United States' only strategic airlifter and providing precise and reliable Global Vigilance, Reach and Power for the nation. The C-5 is a vital part in ensuring that certain aspects of the Air Force's distinctive capabilities remain possible, such as: Air and Space Superiority, Rapid Global Mobility, and Agile Combat Support.
