Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333112 (Lawn and Garden Tractor and Home Lawn and Garden Equipment Manufacturing). The M-B Companies, Inc. 4-Way Power V-Plow is known to meet the Government's needs. The Government is requesting that responsible sources respond if it can provide similar V-Plow systems with the following specifications: "Must be able to mount on a 2016 Toro Polar Track power unit (must attach to existing without requiring purchase of a new coupling device). "The plow needs to cover an area of at least 57" fully extended or 48" when tilted back at 30 degrees. "Must be controlled electronically or hydraulically. "Plow must have quick connect/disconnect capability. "Fuse block included in purchase. Interested Small Businesses, including VOSBs and SDVOSBs, are required to submit an e-mail delineating: "Qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing this product "Business size "Socioeconomic status; and "If the product is on the Federal Supply Schedule or the Open Market This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs must be registered and verified in VIP for consideration. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 333112 and the small business size standard is 1,500 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Jim Hedman at james.hedman2@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 12:00 pm Central Standard Time on Tuesday, July 5th, 2016.
