Pre-Solicitation Notice - Washington Headquarters Museum - Morristown National Historic Park This is a pre-solicitation notice of a proposed contract action. A solicitation will follow approximately 15 days after this notice. The National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Quotation for a Firm Fixed Price Contract. This project is being solicited as a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation including all related documents will be posted to fbo.gov and fedconnect.net on or about July 15, 2016. It is the contractor's responsibility to check the government point of entry daily for any changes to the solicitation. The NAICS code is 337212, Custom Architectural Woodwork and Millwork Manufacturing, the size standard is 500 employees. This project is subject to Service Contract Act wages and Davis Bacon Act wages. There will be a site visit. Prospective offerors are encouraged to visit the site. Site visit date and time will be announced at the time the solicitation is released. The estimated period of performance is 450 days. Work shall include all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision to provide design, production, fabrication, and installation of new museum exhibits for completion of the upper level Military Gallery and for new, interactive exhibits for the Discover History Center with exhibits on both the upper and lower levels of the Washington Headquarters Museum at Morristown National Historical Park located in Morristown, New Jersey. Work includes casework to display a mixture of artifacts and reproductions in the Military Gallery. Work also includes moderately complex audio, video, multi-media/computer systems and two and three-dimensional exhibits. Work includes production of a period reenactment film. A small amount of construction work is required, such as, drywall, electrical and other miscellaneous carpentry work.
