- The Regional Contracting Office (RCO) of Marine Corps Installation West (MCIWEST) at Camp Pendleton, California has a requirement to lease off-road snow vehicles. This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a pre-solicitation notification that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or around August 1, 2016 for a lease of off-road snow vehicles. This announcement is a pre-solicitation notice only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The United States Marine Corps (USMC) plans to solicit and award a firm fixed price lease agreement for 12 commercial off-road snow vehicles. The planned lease term is for eight months with an optional eight month period the following year. The solicitation is scheduled to be set aside for small businesses. The planned North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 336999, All Other Transportation Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The place of performance is the USMC Mountain Warfare Training Center at Bridgeport, California.
