- Brand Name Specification This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6-Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quote (RFQ) number is N66604-16-Q-2714. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, RI (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement to upgrade its Dell R720 computers. NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the following items: LINE NO. MANUFACTURER PART NO. DESCRIPTION QTY 1 Dell A7799534 Kingston - DDR3 - 16 GB - DIMM 240-pin 240 2 Dell 338-BDLJ Intel Xeon E5-2690 v2 3.00GHz, 25M Cache, 8.0GT/s QPI, Turbo, HT, 10C, 130W, Max Mem 1866MHz, CusKit 14 3 Dell 319-0798 Intel Xeon E5-2690 2.90GHz, 20M Cache, 8.0GT/s QPI, Turbo, 8C, 135W, Max Mem 1600MHz, Cus Kit 14 NAICS code is 541519; size standard is 150 Employees. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Vendor must be an authorized Dell reseller. The processors must be an exact match to the existing computers to avoid any integration problems. In addition, the processors must come with heat sink fans and be certified by Dell in order to be covered under the existing Dell PowerEdge R720 computer warranty (See attached Brand Name Specification). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-78. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating is: unrated. This requirement includes Electronic and Information Technology (EIT). The Section 508 Compliant ID # is: Internal Components to Comliance ID 1264 (Dell R720).
