Description

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION This solicitation is a Request for Information to interested contractors for required Solar Diesel Hybrid Portable Light Towers as described below, to be located at: Manchester VA Medical Center, 718 Smyth Road, Manchester, NH 03104-7007. The intent of this Request for information is to put purchase a brand name or equal diesel and solar powered Light Tower in accordance with the following statement of work: Solar/Diesel Hybrid Portable Light Tower Statement of Work This statement of work is for a quantity of two (2) towable Solar/Diesel Hybrid Portable Light Towers. Light Towers will be used by the VA Medical Center 718 Smyth Road Manchester, NH. Light Towers shall be hybrid, powered both by sunlight and diesel fuel. Light Towers shall be new. Light Towers shall each be equipped with a fully rotational 24 foot vertical mast with electric winch system for raising and lowering of the light tower. Units shall each have four 110W 12,000 lumen LED light fixtures. Units shall each have three 260W Monocrystalline Module Solar Panels, eight solar batteries, 24 VDC wiring. Units shall have a Kubota diesel engine which shall be a liquid-cooled, 1 cylinder 69cc engine. Units shall each have an American Power generator. Units shall be constructed on a DOT approved 3000 lb. single axle trailer with 13" tires and 2" ball hitch. Unit shall have outriggers with a fully extended width of 113" for stability. Specifications: Solar/Diesel Hybrid Portable Light Tower ? Dry Weight: 2,670lbs ? Operating Conditions: 2,720 lbs ? Dimensions (Mast and solar panels stowed): 141 x 72 x 109 in ? Diesel Generator: Kubota EA330 Tier 4 diesel engine rated at 6.9hp ? Electrical: 24V DC system wiring ? 780 watts of solar power ? 8 AGM solar batteries ? Auto/Manual light control - with a 7 day programmable on/off light timer with auto/manual hybrid backup charging ? 100amp battery charging generator ? Smart Start mode - maintains battery level on cloudy days ? Quiet Operation ? 5 section durable tubular steel mast ? Single electric winch - effortless rapid deployment ? Lamp adjustment step platform for easy lamp access and adjustment ? 360 degree mast rotation from ground level with locking system for flexible illumination ? (4) 110W LED light fixtures - save money, use less power ? Light fixtures are 100% serviceable, all parts are replaceable ? Dual fixture floodlight with on/off switches ? Light Fixture has a 360 degree fixture rotation for flexible light focus ? Lights are long life, energy efficient and vibration resistant Delivery Schedule: All items required by this contract to be furnished to the Government at no additional cost to the Government within 30 days ARO after contract is awarded. Contractor shall notify COR and Contracting Officer of estimated delivery date in writing within 10 days of contract award.
