Description

FAR 52.212-5 This notice is a Notice of Intent. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Beckman Coulter for the procurement of a 1 year service contract renewal for two Biomek NX robotic work stations. This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items," as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Submit offers on NOI-RML-C-1804389. This acquisition is a Notice of Intent (NOI). The solicitation documents and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-89, dated July 14, 2016. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219, which has a size standard of $20.5 in millions of dollars. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Rocky Mountain Laboratories, is seeking to purchase a 1 year service agreement for two (2) Biomek NX robotic work stations with one preventative maintenance visit for 96 and 384 well format liquid handling. The units to be serviced are: Biomek NXP Multichannel S#A318410113, Tip Head S#3215 & Tip Loader and Biomek NXP Multichannel S#A318410448, auto controller S#LKRGKPT, TipHead #4122 & Loader. Service Agreement must include: On-site labor, travel, and OEM parts for repairs Priority on-site service support and technical phone support Additional key operator training available during service visits 1 annual scheduled preventative maintenance visit performed to factory specs. Service must be provided by only authorized and factory-certified Beckman Coulter Technicians FOB Point shall be Destination; Hamilton, MT 59840 Place of Contract Performance: Rocky Mountain Laboratories 903 S. 4th Street Hamilton, MT, 59840 Award will be based on the capability of the item offered to meet the above stated salient characteristics, price, past performance, delivery, warranty, and the best value to the government. This is an open-market combined synopsis/solicitation/Notice of Intent for 1 year Service Contract for Beckman Coulter as defined herein. The Government intends to award a purchase order as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein.
