- Installation of Guardrails at Cottonwood Arizona, 30 miles west of Chinle Arizona, on the Navajo Nation Reservation. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A BUY INDIAN SET ASIDE, ONLY BUY INDIAN PROPOSALS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Amendment No.: 0001 is for Solicitation No.: A16PS00833 is as follows: To extend the response date to August 11. 2016 at 12:00 p.m. To respond to questions received: 1. Reference Section B.4 of the ¿Construction Clauses ¿ document on Page 6 of 89. Please provide the Unit Price Schedule referenced in this section. Government Response: Will be provided at a later date. 2. Please provide drawings for this scope of work, including plan locations for the guardrail and details. Government Response: Approved drawings, plans, supplemental specifications etc. can be obtained from the Navajo Region Design Bureau Chief. 3. Please indicate if there are any site-specific modifications to the FP-03 Standard Specifications for this project. Government Response: The only change to be noted is the end treatment, the plans call for 'SKT-350" end terminals. 4. Please confirm that flared out subgrade and asphalt paving at the guardrail end treatment is provided complete by others. Government Response: There is no asphalt paving, all subgrade preparation will be complete prior to installation. 5. Please confirm that all traffic control is provided complete by others. Government Response: Force Account Section does provide all traffic control 6. Please confirm that all survey and layout work is provided complete by others. Government Response: All survey work will be in place per FP-03 requirements 7. Please confirm that the SWPP plan and implementation is provided complete by others. Government Response: SWPPP is in place 8. Please confirm that quality control is provided complete by others. Government Response: Quality Control other then required submittals related to the guard rail materials will be in place. The contractor to supply shop drawings, Certificates of Compliance, etc, to Force Account at least two weeks prior to installation for approval. 9. Reference Section L.8.4 of the ¿Construction Clauses ¿ document on Page 63 of 89. Please confirm that offerors may submit past performance evaluations through the CPARS in lieu of Past Performance Relevancy Questionnaires. Government Response: Questionnaires is preferred, because CPARS is fairly new and does not provide detail reference. 10. Reference Section L.8.4 on Page 63 of 89 and Section M.3.1.2 on Page 69 of 89of the ¿Construction Clauses ¿ document. Please confirm offerors can use references from within the past eight years as stated in Section L.8.4 rather than just within the past three years as stated within Section M.3.1.2. Government Response: Within three years is recommended. 11. Please confirm the page limit of 10 pages described in Section L.8.2.1 does NOT include resumes. Government Response: Provide your resumes add an additional 10 pages. Total pages 20. No more questions will be accepted. Thank you
