- Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Barbados will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. This solicitation is for the purchase of Three (3) Full Size SUVs and One (1) Pick-up Truck. This solicitation will be issued via the FedBizOpps - no paper copies will be mailed. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered, but electronic submissions will not be accepted. The Government plans to issue the solicitation on August 08, 2016. The proposal due date will be set forth in the solicitation. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor and registered in SAM (System for Award Management) http://www.sam.gov. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion.
