Description

The Veterans Health Administration, VISN 15 intends to procure Pharmaceutical Waste Disposal Services for VISN 15 VA Medical Centers at: Dwight David Eisenhower (DDE) Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 4101 S 4th Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048, Colmery O'Neil VAMC, 2200 SW Gage Blvd Topeka, KS 66622, Jefferson Barracks VAMC, 1 Jefferson Barracks Drive St Louis, MO 63125, John Cochran VAMC, 915 N Grand St Louis, MO 63106, John J. Pershing VAMC, 1500 N. Westwood Blvd Poplar Bluff Mo 63901, Harry S. Truman Veterans VAMC, 800 Hospital Drive Columbia, MO 65201. The proposed services will be solicited on a firm fixed price basis in accordance with FAR 6.206. This requirement is a 100% Service Disables Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) set a-side with a one (1) year base contract and four (4) option years for Pharmaceutical Waste Disposal. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAISC) Code is 562112 with a small business size standard is $38.5 million. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal constitutes the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The solicitation and specifications will be posted on or around 31 August 2016 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor this website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning SAM registration requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov or by calling the Federal Service Desk at 1-866-606-8220. Any prospective contractor must be registered as a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business in VETBIZ in order to be eligible for award. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
