Description
This solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Bangkok, Thailand will launch the solicitation on the FedBizOpps website. This Solicitation is to install the additional Temperature Monitoring System (TMS) include spare part and to provide Preventive Maintenance Services for The Armed Forces Research Institute of Medical Sciences (AFRIMS). The resultant order will be a firm fixed price condition for standard services. This solicitation will be issued via FedBizOpps and will also post locally on the embassy web page [https://th.usembassy.gov/embassy-consulate/bangkok/gso-procurementsales-opportunities] – no paper copies will be mailed. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered, and electronic submissions will also be accepted. The Government encourages offerors to register with the System for Award Management [SAM] at www.sam@state.gov in advance of the quotations submission pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7 The Government plans to issue the solicitation on 12 August 2016. The proposal due date will be set forth in the solicitation. The government intends to award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the order based on initial offer, without discussion and subject to the availability of funds.
