Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 and the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Department requires Janitorial Services in a health care environment at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Decatur, IL for a period of October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017, with an additional Four (4) One (1) Year options to be exercised at the discretion of the government. The Government anticipates awarding this requirement as a Firm Fixed Price contract. This acquisition is set aside for a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, with a North American Industry Classification System code of 561720, with a size standard of $18.0 Million. The solicitation will issue August 3, 2016 and responses will be due on August 25, 2016 at 4PM CDT. Please see attachments for solicitation submission details and requirements. All Requests for Information (RFI's) shall be submitted by 12PM, Tuesday August 16th, 2016. Responses to RFI's shall be posted by COB Thursday August 18, 2016. Please send all questions to kevin.adkins@va.gov Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management/ support, transportation, supplies, equipment and materials, except Government-furnished space and utilities, necessary for accomplishment of a Fully-Managed Total Environmental Sanitation Maintenance Program for the Decatur Community Based Clinic, in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).
