Description
- 53 Sensors with a cable length of 33' feet, and 20 sensors with a cable length of 90'. o These are estimated lengths required. Actual lengths received can deviate slightly but no sensor cable shall be less than 33' in length and shall not deviate more than 17' for shorter cables and 10' for longer cables, from requested lengths. - 2 Rod Insertion Guide Tools with Pilot Rod - Sensors are to be digital utilizing SDI-12 protocol and need to be end-user addressable to any SDI-12 address 0-9. - Operational Temperature of Sensor (-10⁰C to 70⁰C) - Volumetric Water Content Specs (Note: using Topp Equation (mᶟ/mᶟ)) o Range 5% to 50% o Accuracy ±3% VMC o Precision <0.05% - Soil Temperature Specs o Range -10⁰C to +70⁰C o Accuracy ±0.5⁰C o Precision ±0.02⁰C - MUST BE proven to work in the clay soils found in the Red River of the North basin. o NDAWN (North Dakota Agricultural Weather Network) has tested different probes in the basin. They have found that the Campbell Scientific CS655 probes work in clay soils. A different brand would need to show us that they have a proven record in the clay soils that are found in the Red River of the North Valley. - Include any special tools for installation Requested sensor is a Campbell Scientific "CS655 Reflectometer with 12cm Rods" or equivalent.
