PLEASE SEE ATTACHMENT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE SOLICITATION NUMBER: M67004-16-Q-1053 Synopsis: The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a firm fixed price contract for Information Technology Validation and Wireless Security Support Services under other than full and open competition to a service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern, RPI Group, Inc. 10718 Ballantraye Drive, Suite 410, Fredericksburg, VA 22407, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The period of performance is for one year and will be over the simplified acquisition threshold. Other than full and open competition is in accordance with FAR 13.501 and an approved Justification and Approval is on file. This will be a sole source award made pursuant to the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. 657f). The requirements of FAR 19.1406 have been met in making this a sole source award to a service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government and would not hinder mission objective of Blount Island Command. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is not a request for quotes or proposals.
