- Description
- Subject: Validation And Analysis Of Pharmacokinetic Non-Human Primate Samples Under Glp Conditions THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS (RFQ); IT IS STRICTLY A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). NEITHER UNSOLICITED PROPOSALS NOR ANY OTHER KINDS OF OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED IN RESPONSE TO THIS RFI. NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED PURSUANT TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. 1.0 DISCLAIMER: This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. At this time, questions concerning the composition and requirements for a future RFP will not be entertained. 2.0 SUBJECT: The Bacteriology Division (BACT) of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) is conducting market research to assess commercial availability of performing validation and analysis of pharmacokinetic nonhuman primate samples using liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS) under GLP conditions, as well as provide the procedures via technical transfer. In-line with the above goal, BACT wishes to obtain information from commercial sources who possess the ability to perform the tasks required. 3.0 Background: Currently there is a Bacteriology Division (BACT) requirement for validation of methods and analysis of pharmacokinetic nonhuman primate samples using those methods under GLP conditions. The required tasks for this service are as follows: (1) African Green nonhuman primate sample method development; (2) African Green nonhuman primate sample method validation; (3) African Green nonhuman primate long term stability; (4) African Green nonhuman primate sample analysis; (5) Cynomolgus nonhuman primate sample development; (6) Cynomolgus nonhuman primate partial method development; (7) Cynomolgus nonhuman sample long term stability; (8) Cynomolgus nonhuman primate sample analysis and (9) Technical Transfer of Methods. It is preferred that the candidate have previously developed methods for the pharmaceutical company who develops the antibiotics of choice for the pharmacokinetic study. For candidate technologies with the potential to meet all of these requirements, a short fact sheet (three pages or less) is requested that summarizes capabilities in before mentioned areas. 4.0 Response Instructions: Respondents should address the following in their capabilities statement: A product development plan demonstrating realistic and attainable timelines for validation and analysis of pharmacokinetic nonhuman primate samples under GLP conditions. 5.0 CONTACT INFORMATION: Any and all questions related to this RFI shall be directed to john.m.niziolek.civ@mail.mil. All information regarding Capabilities Statements or any other proprietary information relative to this RFI shall be submitted via email to john.m.niziolek.civ@mail.mil no later than 3:00 pm E.S.T. on 8/12/16.
