Description

VA Network Contracting Office 6 is hereby officially cancelling solicitation VA246-16-Q-1253 - Hospital Oxygen Tank Rental for the Asheville VA Medical Center. Due to the recent Supreme Court decision in Kingdomware Technologies, Inc. vs. United States, it is believed that this solicitation no longer adheres to new federal contracting guidelines. A new solicitation should be issued in the near future. The NAICS code for this service is 325120 (Industrial Gas Manufacturing) Important information: The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with having responded to solicitation VA24616-Q-1253. This notice of cancellation shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. Currently a total set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business/Veteran Owned Small Business concern is anticipated based on the Veterans Administration requirement with Public Law 109-461, Section 8127 Veterans Benefit Act.
