Description

This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The FAA is seeking experienced, qualified, and competent firms to fabricate and manufacture a Seventy-Seven (77) foot tower for an ASR-8 facility, O'Hare International Airport, Chicago, Illinois. 1. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 332312, Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees. 2. The project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. 3. Contract performance time is 150 days. 4. Contractors must have an active registration in System Award Management (SAM) before award can be made. Contractors can register at www.sam.gov/. AN OFFEROR MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING GO/NO-GO CRITERIA IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A SOLICITATION PACKAGE: a. The contractor must have successfully completed (3) similar projects in dollar amount, scope, and complexity; such as manufacture and fabrication of communication towers of 70+ feet tall and above for FAA, other Federal, State, Local Government or similar private entity)during he past five (5) years. b. The contractor must have delivered a quality product in the timeframe established by the contract. The contractor must provide the name of the facility for which the work was performed, contract number, along with a point of contact at the facility and telephone number. This information MUST BE submitted with the request for specifications and plans. 1. DOCUMENT SECURITY NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS 2. BUSINESS DECLARATION 3. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE (completed) The information provided will also be used as part of the responsibility determination.
