Description

Single Source Justification This is a notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate and award to only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i). The source is: UNICOM GOVERNMENT, INC. 2553 DULLES VIEW DR STE 100 HERNDON, VA, 20171-5228 NAICS 238210 The requirement is for: 1 LOT - VTC Maintenance Support Business Size: Other than Small Business Unicom Government Incorporated (UGI) is the only authorized vendor for the MicroTech VTC system that is utilized at the 526 IS, Nellis AFB, Nevada. This system was purchased on 28 September 2012 from MicroTech under contract, FA4861-12-P-0193. In a letter dated, 15 July 2016, from UNICOM, all assets of MicroTech's Unified Communications and Collaboration department was sold to UGI, effective on 30 June 2014, by virtue of an Asset Purchase Agreement. UNICOM informed the Government they do not outsource any of the project management, engineering or programming services for the VTC system. The VTC system maintenance support can only be provided by UNICOM. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. Responses must be received by 08/12/2016 at 12:00 PM PST.
