- Description
- The 140 th Mission Support Contracting, Colorado Air National Guard is contemplating the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the upgrade to the current Intrusion Detection System (IDS) on Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado. The proposed solicitation number is W912LC-16-R-5007 and the North American Industry Classification (NAISC) code for this requirement is 334290 with a size standard of 750 employees. This is a partial brand name requirement for Honeywell Vindicator items. The offeror/contractor providing IDS installation shall be an authorized and certified Honeywell Vindicator contractor. All information required submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. General scope of the requirement includes design, procure, and install the necessary components to complete a technology refresh for all existing IDS panels and equipment used to support existing alarmed facilities listed in section 3 below for integration into the host base IDS command, control, and display equipment (CCDE). Provide any support equipment required to integrate new intrusion detection equipment (IDE) as necessary. Installed system must integrate with the Vindicator V5 CCDE (Win 7 platform) operated by the host unit (460 Security Forces) located in Building 1028 Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC). The required elements for this system will include removal of existing Advantor Infraguard and Infraguard2 IDS panels, evaluation and reuse of existing IDE, conversion of the current automated access control system, and all necessary programming for integration into the 460 SFS Vindicator. The system shall meet the USAF Authority to Operate (ATO) for Vindicator version 7.0. All IDS keypads deployed in the field must be Vindicator graphical keypads (Vindicator Area Commander Keypads) approved for Vindicator version 7.0. THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION SYNSOPSIS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Any subsequent RFP will be made available electronically via the FedBizOpps (FBO) website ( https://www.fbo.gov ) on or about 19 Aug 2016. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the FBO website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. This notice does not commit the Government to award a contract. No collect calls or facsimile transmissions will be accepted. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement.
