Delivery to Bethesda, Maryland 20892 approximately 10 days from date of award. The VRC has been using the ExpiFectamine 293 Transfection Kits for more than two (2) years. The kits is unique in that it allows for high density growth and protein production with the accompanied use of other 293Expi components such as specific cell lines. This has proven to support the production of the proteins that is required for protocols in the development for vaccines for HIV and other viruses. The kits are needed for ongoing experiments where the continuity of the ExpiFectamine 293 Transfection Kits must be maintained to ensure experimental results are not influenced by other variables. Failure to obtain the kits would result in the inability to perform experiments.
