Description
Special Notice Request for Information Only The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20, is looking for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) sources of the following: Tables, Training, Pirouette, Nesting, rectangle 24"x72", Manu: KI, P/N: PINR2472T-74P ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦ 45 each Chairs, armless, stacking, nesting, upholstered seat, Manu: KI, P/N: SNNUA, Strive Collection ¦ ¦ ¦..130 each Salient Characteristics: "Quantity: 45 - KI - Pirouette, Rectangular 24"x 72", Nesting Training Tables. "The Training Tables have to be equal to the KI, Pirouette Rectangular Nesting Training Table. The finish has to be equal to the Brighton Walnut Laminate and have the KI Paint color, Champagne Metallic, steel tubing metal legs. All finish alternatives, have to have samples sent for approval. "The tables have to be equal to 72"w x 24"d x 29"h "The table has to have a warranty of at least a 10 year warranty. "The tables have to be on 2.44" diameter casters for ease of mobility; and has to have a nylon table latch release handle, on either end. This is actuated by squeezing the lever on either end to the underside of the worksurface. Pulling upward raises the worksurface for nesting storage. This is important, as it happens regularly that only one person sets up this space, and it has to be easy for them to flip the table top and move, without the assistance of a second person. "The tables have to have a latch that engages once the surface is down, so that the table does not try to flip, while someone is using it. "The tables have to have articulating legs, that nest together nicely for storage. This is important for both overall use and storage of these tables. The rooms that these are going into, have different size meetings every day. Sometimes only a couple tables are needed, other times all of them are needed. "The tables have to be able to accommodate two sided usage, as this is a very well used space, sometimes for training, sometimes for group collaborative projects, so it needs to be very versatile. "The casters have to be a medium hard caster that works on carpet or hard floors, as well as have a lock on two of the four casters. This is important as these tables move between both carpet and hard floors, and we do not want to cause harm to either flooring during constant moves. The locks on two of the casters is crucial, so that the table stays in place, once set. This way it does not cause injury to persons, not expecting the table to move on them, when they sit down at it. "The tables have to have a worksurface top that is nominal to 1 ¼" overall thickness. The entire worksurface must be covered in a high pressure laminate, including the edges, that is equal to the KI Brighton Walnut laminate, with an EBW, 2mm - 74P 1-1/4" Straight edge "Quantity: 130 - Strive, Nesting Armless Chair with Upholstered Seat. "The Chairs have to be equal to the KI, Strive Nesting Chair. "The chair has to hold a total of at least 350 lbs. "The chair has to have at least a 15 year warranty. "The back of the chair has to be a polypropylene with slats and integral steel cantilever springs, in the KI molded plastic color Flannel. Any alternative finish and/or color has to have samples sent and be approved. The steel springs and slats provide a supportive, yet flexible back and the polypropylene is important for clean-ability. "The chair has to have a radiused back to conform to users back and a contoured seat, which dissipates pressure points. This makes for a comfortable seat for many hours. "The 13- gauge high strength steel tubing metal legs of the chair have to be in the KI paint color Champagne Metallic. Any alternative finishes have to have samples sent and approved. "The seat has to be upholstered in a fabric that is equal to the following. Company: Pallas, Line: Halftone, Color: 27.198.031 Art Critic. Any alternative fabrics have to have samples sent and be approved. "The seat has to flip up in order to allow chairs to nest for storage and transport. "The chairs have to have double wheels of high impact thermoplastic casters and be suitable for carpet or hard floors. This is important for flexibility and ease of movement within the space.
