- RFQ no. S-IT-520-16-Q-007 - Bathrooms renovation project The U.S.Consulate General in Milan, Italy has a requirement to renovate bathrooms at the Consulate building in Milan, Italy. This project is estimated at over $25,000.00 but less than $150,000. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The solicitation will be launched as soon as ready in August 2016. Please note that in order to be eligible for a US Government award, SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 5.207 (see below) Effective Immediately In order to be awarded Purchase Orders/Contracts at or above US$3,500.00, Contractors are required to get a DUNS number. A DUNS number is a unique 9-digit identifier issued and maintained by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) that verifies the existence of a business entity globally. D&B assigns DUNS numbers for each physical location of a business. All government contractors globally can receive a DUNS number at no charge and, under normal circumstances, within 24-72 hours when using the D&B web form process (http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform) or by calling D&B in the United States at +1-866-785-0428. In order to be awarded contracts at or above US$25,000.00, Contractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM). Please note that in order to register in SAM you need to first obtain a DUNS number and a NATO CAGE Code.
