- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, hereby gives notice of their intent to award a contract to Mergent, Inc., 580 Kingsley Pk Dr. Fort Mill, SC 29715-6403 on a sole source basis utilizing FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition, procedures in accordance with 41 USC 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements The Office of the Comptroller has a requirement for Mergent FISD Fixed Income Securities Database. The database covers comprehensive data fields on publicly-offered debt issues and the issuers. Among many other important data fields, the OCC requires the database to provide bond performance information on variety of fixed securities, namely corporate, corporate MTN (medium term note), U.S. Agency, and U.S. Treasury debt securities. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received in writing within three days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide the services outlined in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
