- The 409th Regional Contracting Office Benelux anticipates a requirement for Asbestos Removal services. The project consist of the removal of asbestos (Floor tiles, glue and pipes). The principal items to be performed to accomplish the work consist of the following: (1) Preparing of site (Sealing/confining of area). (2) Removal and disposal of asbestos. (3) Removal of confining area (4) Supply and installation of a suitable and approved substitute material The asbestos removal services shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable United States (US), Belgium, European and local laws, regulations, standards, provisions, and directives to include applicable publications. The work describe will be performed at Building # 2 - Chievres Air Base, 7950 Chievers, Belgium The anticipated solicitation release date is on or about 10 August 2016 with an anticipated contract award date on or about 1 September 2016. Only contractors who are registered and have an active account in the System for Award Management (SAM) may be awarded a contract as a result of the solicitation. Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system. Contractors shall be registered in WAWF.
