- Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide advisory & assistance services for Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 4. Description of Work- Contractor is to provide a comprehensive Statement of Conditions (SOC) survey at each of the VA Medical Centers (VAMCs) in VISN 4 to assess compliance with the 2015 NFPA Life Safety Code (NFPA 101) and identify deficiencies to be resolved to achieve and maintain Joint Commission standards. The contractor will use a standard survey protocol to address all applicable codes, references and regulations. The contractor will review records, interview staff, and visually inspect each facility in the gathering of information and completion of the survey and will provide a separate written report for each VAMC to include recommended corrective actions. Technical Requirements- Contractor must provide its own resources (e.g., facilities, equipment, personnel, expertise and supervision) necessary to perform the services. The Contractor shall possess the credentials for conducting the surveys. This means that the Contractor will have licensed professional engineer(s) with specific heath care experience and also have credentialed and licensed Fire Protection Engineer(s) whom have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in completing NFPA 101 surveys in health care facilities and a minimum of five (5) years working with the SOC process. Interested & Capable Responses- NCO 4 is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources and capabilities necessary to provide these services.
