- Description: SERVICES- Data and Voice Cabling Services This is a Combined Synopsis Solicitation for commercial items and will be conducted in accordance FAR Part 13.5 FAC 2005-89. This procurement is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB's). The purpose of this Solicitation is to acquire Data and Voice Cabling Services for the Miami VA Medical Center. It is the intention of the Government to solicit via Request for Quote (RFQ) VA248-16-Q-1521, NAICS Code: 238210 in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, and schedules of the solicitation and award a contract on a competitive basis. The contract resulting from the solicitation shall be a Firm Fixed Priced contract. In an effort to meet the green initiative, documents shall be submitted electronically via email. Emails shall not be more than five (5) megabytes in size each. Quotes submitted by any other means other than emailed will not be accepted. The electronic solicitation is hereby announced on this 8th day of the month of August 2016. The quoter shall be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents/amendments from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov) without further notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Interested firms must be fully registered and active in the SAM database www.sam.gov. All correspondence and any and all questions must be submitted in via email to: Ogniel.Alvarez@va.gov Contracting Officer. All Requests for Information (RFI's) or questions are due by 18 August 2016 at 2:00pm EST.
