Description
Removal, Transportation and Disposal of Various Tires/Scrap Tires, Marine Fenders and Other Scrap Rubber from DLA Disposition Installation Services, Guam. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services Guam has scrap rubber consisting of tires/scrap tires, marine fenders, and other scrap rubber which requires removal, recycling and/or final disposal. Various rubber consisting of demilitarization (DEMIL) "A", "B", and "Q" codes types are: ground vehicular tires, solid and pneumatic tires from fixed and rotary wing aircraft, pneumatic tires from passenger vehicles, pneumatic tires from heavy equipment, solid and pneumatic tires from industrial equipment, solid and pneumatic tires from agricultural and/or aircraft, bias ply or steel belted used tires. Other rubber products including but not limited to marine fenders and bumpers, hose assemblies, gaskets, sheet, tubing, matting mats, sponge rubber, belting, seals, bushings, grommets various rubber molded, extruded fabricated products. Provide all services necessary for the removal and final disposal in accordance with U.S. and local environmental laws and regulations and any applicable international agreements governing the transportation of dangerous goods and the terms and conditions of this contract. These services shall include all necessary personnel including applicable subcontractors, labor, transportation, packaging, equipment, and submission of all documentation required by this contract. NAICS CODE 562219, Other Nonhazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal Size Standard: $38.5 million. 100% Small Business Set-aside The Solicitation is expected to be issued on or about August 19, 2016 with responses due on or about September 2, 2016. The solicitation will be available for download on the www.fbo.gov website. The Solicitation will result in a single, firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The contract will have a 12-month performance period. Offerors must have all required permits and licenses. Note that the issuing office for this solicitation will be DLA Disposition Services, J-762, 1025 Quincy Avenue, Suite 316, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, 96860-4512.
