Description

PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS DESCRIPTION The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for the procurement of radiopharmaceuticals to perform Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System (PSHCS). DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: A base plus four option year contract for radiopharmaceuticals to perform PET imaging at the VA PSHCS. The vendor shall furnish the radiopharmaceuticals, F-18 FluoroDeoxyGlucose (FDG) and F-18 NaF Sodium Fluoride in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. The Vendor shall meet all Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Department of Transportation, F.D.A., OSHA and all other applicable agency rules and regulations, both State and Federal. The Vendor is also responsible for delivering the material in accordance with the shipping protocols required by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Due to the limited shelf life of the product, vendor will be required to meet specific delivery requirements. The solicitation, specifications and other attachments will be available for download on FedBizOpps (FBO) (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about 11 August 2016, with an anticipated proposal due date of 31 August 2016. The anticipated award date is 16 September 2016. The period of performance of the base year of the resulting contract will be 1 October 2016 - 30 September 2017. The contract will be awarded to one (1) contractor using a Lowest-Price Technically-Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process. The award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposal meeting or exceeding the technical requirements This procurement is for full and open competition. The applicable NAICS code is 325412 - Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing.
