- Sole Source USDA Sole Source Notice for Thermo Fisher Scientific Bovigam TB 30 Plate Kit catalog # 63326 for the use at USDA APHIS NVSL in Ames, IA The USDA National Veterinary Science Laboratories in Ames, IA, intend to award a purchase order for 10 Thermo Fisher Scientific Bovigam TB 30 Plate Kit catalog # 63326, on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1 (b), with Thermo Fisher Scientific, United Kingdom. This purchase will be procured as a commercial item in accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). The sole source determination is based on Thermo Fisher Scientific being the sole source for providing this product to be used in creating Bovigam/Gamma Interferon testing kits. This is not a request for quote. However, all interested parties may contact the Contract Officer listed below. Sources interested in responding to this requirement must be able to provide compelling evidence that they can obtain/provide a Thermo Fisher Scientific catalog # 63326 Bovigam TB 30 Plate Kit. Responses must be submitted electronically, via email, to sara.l.matchie@aphis.usda.gov. The deadline for the submittal of responses is 10:00 am central time, August 19, 2016.
