Description

NOTICE OF INTENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Government Scientific Source a veteran owned small business, for the purchase of various ancillary kits for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System research department. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 325413 with a business size standard of 1250 employees. The proposed contract is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.301-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing via email to Tammie.chaney@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 AM CDT on Thursday, August 18, 2016.
