- Description
- Amendment 3 More question received: QUESTION 1. Is there a specific type of drying rack you are looking for? (feature e). ANSWER: We would like a standard laboratory drying rack mounted behind the sink. This consists of upturned pegs that lead the dripping water towards the back of the rack, where it drips into a drainage basin which usually has a separate tube that drains into the sink. The purpose of this is to dry lab glassware. Here is an example: http://lghttp.41526.nexcesscdn.net/8015C4D/magento/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/1400x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/G/S/GS-600213-2.jpg No specific brand is required. We prefer one to be chosen that matches the materials/colors of the lab interior. QUESTION 2. Other than 9 electrical outlets for the equipment and workstations, how many outlets do you need? (feature p) ANSWER: There shall be three outlets per each of the 2 empty walls QUESTION 3. Is there going to be an external water supply available? (feature f) ANSWER: It's up to the contractor to suggest what water supply is used to feed the safety shower and where it should be located. Be careful with an external roof mounted tank for the shower. The sun could heat it to scalding, which wouldn't be safe at all. We don't anticipate having a separate external tank. We asked for hook-ups so that we can attach a water supply at the sites in which we'll be working. However, for the unit itself we imagine that they'll build in water tanks like they have in standard mobile homes. The trailer should be useable for a period of time without external hookups. QUESTION 4. I would like to confirm that we are only responsible for delivering the trailer and not hooking up utilities. ANSWER: We don't require manufacturers to hook up utilities at time of delivery.
