Description

NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA)/SOURCES SOUGHT. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division Contracting Branch, (AFLCMC/HNCK), Joint Base San Antonio Lackland intends to award, on a sole source basis, a Fixed Price Contract, to Rockwell Collins, 400 Collins Road, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498, Cage Code: 13499, for the following items: KGV-361 Part Number: 0N696900-1 NSN: 5810-01-541-9327CA KG-333 Part Number: 0N696800-1 NSN: 5810-01-541-9328CA Host Board Part Number: 0N711816-2 NSN: 5998-01-597-8671CA Rockwell Collins is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of this equipment. The proposed contract action is for the modification/upgrade of these assets for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), only one responsible source. The Government intends to make an award by the end of September 2016. No technical data/drawings/technical orders are available. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirements, it must identify its interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within seven (7) days of this publication. Interest firms must indicate whether they are large, small, and socio-economic classification, and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned.
