- REQUEST FOR SOURCES ONLY - SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) CONCERNS FOR PRECAST CONCRETE SHOWERS/BATHROOMS UNIT This is a Sources Sought synopsis only and not a pre-solicitation notice OR a solicitation. Pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research, this survey is to determine the availability of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns who have the capability of providing one (1) solid precast concrete showers/bathrooms unit, minimum size of 26' x 40', maximum size of 30' x 44', that meets the requirements specified in Attachment 1 - Product Description. Pursuant to FAR Part 19, the nonmanufacturer rule will be applicable. "Nonmanufacturer rule" means that a contractor under a small business set-aside or 8(a) contract shall be a small business under the applicable size standard and shall provide either its own product or that of another domestic small business manufacturing or processing concern (see 13 CFR 121.406). The end item must also be manufactured or produced in the United States. This Sources Sought Notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; nor does it represent a promise to issue an RFQ or RFP in the future. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether there are a sufficient number of SDVOSBs available to conduct a competitive procurement set aside for SDVOSB concerns. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes or offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Please be advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought; all costs associated will be solely at the responding party's expense. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Response must provide clear and concise documentation which evidences the respondent's bona fide capability to provide this product. The respondent must provide: 1)A capability statement along with brochures/literature/website that addresses the respondent's/organization's qualifications and ability to provide the product described in Attachment 1 - Product Description. 2)As the nonmanufactuer rule applies to this procurement, provide the name and business size of the manufacturer of the product, if not manufactured by the respondent. 3) Include a brief resume of past performance which supports your qualifications and capability to provide the product specified. Include references' contact name, phone number, email address and description of product that was provided. Provide a minimum of three (3) references. 4) Responses should contain the Respondent's Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, DUNS Number, Cage Code, Phone Number, Email Address, a statement as to whether your company is domestic or foreign owned, and is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) concern under the NAICS Code 327390 small business size standard. 5)All proprietary information that is not to be disseminated in follow-on Government documents must be clearly identified in the Respondent's response. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. central time on Monday, August 22, 2016. Submit responses to Kathryn Logsdon via e-mail at kathryn_logsdon@nps.gov. Respondents are advised that if you are unable to provide the identified products specifically outlined in Attachment 1 - Product Description, please do not respond to this Sources Sought. Since this is a Sources Sought Announcement only, its results will not be issued to the respondents.
