Description: Amendment 0006 is hereby issued. The proposal receipt date remains August 24, 2016, by 2:00 p.m. ET. A subsequent Amendment will be forthcoming to address additional questions received. _____________________________________________________________ The FAA requires contractor support of second level engineering for the Terminal and Technical Operations requirements to fulfill its mission to provide safe and efficient use of the national airspace. This Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Business (SEDB) 8(a) Set-Aside procurement will be a best value competition utilizing trade-off procedures. The FAA plans to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Time and Material (T&M) contract with a period of performance not to exceed 84 months (7 years). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the effort is 541519 (Other Computer Related Services) with a small business size standard of $27.5 million. This Screening Information Request (SIR) is a Request for Offer (RFO), and an awarded contract may result from proposals submitted in response to this announcement. The Government will not be liable for any costs associated with the submittal of a response to this SIR. As stated in Section L.11 of the SIR, written questions are due July 19, 2016, by 2:00 pm ET. Proposals are due August 10, 2016 by 2:00 pm ET. The incumbent contractor is ASRC Research and Technology Solutions LLC of Beltsville, MD 20705-6351 performing FAA Contract Number DTFACT-09-D-00010 (Service Operations Support (SOS-7)).
