- This Presolicitation notice is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center, Norfolk, VA to identify sources capable of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to support USCG Air Station Traverse City's unit-specific aviation training program. Air Station Traverse City is located at 1175 Airport Access Road, Traverse City, MI, but all work will be completed in the general vicinity of Traverse City. The contractor will be responsible for providing and operating a vessel in support of the U.S. Coast Guard's unit specific aviation training program. A Requirements solicitation with commercial provisions in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items will be issued for a base and four option years on or about 18 August 2016. The scope of the acquisition is for the contractor shall provide a vessel and all necessary management supervision, personnel, labor materials, fuel and equipment required for supporting helicopter crew hoists, rescue swimmer operations, use of force judgmental training, and any aerial delivered material used to fulfill Air Station Traverse City's training requirements. Technical, Past Performance, and Price will be considered in the award of this contract. The intended type of contract will be Requirements Type Contract with Firm Fixed Prices. Anticipated award date is 28 September 2016. This is a TOTAL Small Business acquisition and is open to all small businesses. The applicable NAICS Code is 488390 with a size standard of $38.5 million. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE NOTIFIED THAT THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE INTERNET ON OR ABOUT 18 August 2016 and is anticipated to close on 8 September 2016. Once the solicitation is issued offerors may submit questions electronically to Rebecca.A.Brown@uscg.mil until 31 August 2016. The Request for Quote (RFQ) and all amendments will be published for viewing and printing at http://www.fbo.gov. IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO PERIODICALLY CHECK THE WEB SITE FOR AMENDEMENTS TO THE REQUEST FOR QUOTE. No paper copies of the solicitation or the amendments will be issued.
