- Description: CRYOGEN FILLS FOR MEDICAL EQUIPMENT This is a Combined Synopsis solicitation for cryogens fills for medical equipment and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13.5(FAC-2005-89) as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB) set-aside. The Government in support of the Miami VA Healthcare System has a requirement for cryogen fills for medical equipment. It is the intention of the Government to solicit a Request for Quote (RFQ) VA248-16-Q-1105 NAICS Code: 325120 (Industrial Gas Manufacturer) a size standard of 1000 employees in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, schedules of the solicitation and award a contract on a competitive basis. The period of performance will be for a period of One (1) Base term with the option to extend service for Four (4) additional 12 (twelve) months terms effective from the date of award. The contract resulting from this solicitation shall be a Firm Fixed Price contract. In an effort to meet the green initiative, documents shall be submitted electronically via email. Emails shall not be more than five (5) megabytes in size. The electronic solicitation will be announced on August 10, 2016, the offeror will be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents, amendments and other documents from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov) without further notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Interested firms must be registered in the SAM database www.sam.gov. All correspondence and questions must be submitted to the Contract Specialist email at: gwendolyn.law@va.gov by August 15, 2016 @ 10:00 am ET. The Contracting Officer is O'niel Alvarez.
