Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333415. The Iron Mountain VA Medical Center Pharmacy Service has a specific need for two medical grade refrigerators to store sterile, non?hazardous and hazardous medications requiring refrigeration. This product will fit into the newly designed clean rooms to allow for timely compounding, and space is a large consideration. The device we require must have the following available components: ? Thermo Scientific Revco Pharmacy Refrigerator Catalog # RPR1204A or equal ? Adjustable temperature control from 1 to 8 degrees Celsius. ? Single glass door - NOT a pass?through model ? Exterior dimensions Length - 29.3 inches, plus or minus up to two inches variance acceptable ? Exterior dimension Width - 24 inches, plus or minus up to one inch variance acceptable ? Exterior dimension Height - 73.6 inches, plus or minus up to 1 inch variance acceptable ? Heavy Duty industrial grade hermetically sealed compressors ? Automatic defrost and condensate removal ?Battery backup for control panel to ensure function during temporary power failure ?Positive, forced?air circulation to maintain temperature ? High?density, CFC free urethane foam insulation ? Adjustable full?extension stainless steel drawers - require 5 of them ? Power: 30 amp power cord w/ twist plug This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 333415 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Michael J Rosenthal at Michael.rosenthal@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 2:00 pm Central Standard Time on Monday, August 22, 2016.
