- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), PMA-209, intends to negotiate and award a sole-source delivery order for PMA-276 under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-11-G-0018 to Rockwell Collins Government Systems (RCGS), Cedar Rapids, IA, 52498 to convert a quantity of Two Hundred Seventy Nine (279), RT-1939(C)/ARC H-1 radios to RT-1939A(C)/ARC H-1 for H-1 aircraft. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the requirements." RCGS is the sole developer of the ARC-210 family of products and related ancillary equipment and maintains the proprietary rights to this radio. Accordingly, it is the only source capable of providing the required efforts. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. The Government will consider all information received prior to closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. No phone inquiries will be entertained.
