- The Synopsis and Solicitation of RFQ N00383-16-R-N300, Requisition N0038316PR0R300 for the Commercial Repair of the Fuel Control, Main T, P/N 5074T79G08, NSN 7RH 2915 01-314-8596, Quantity 1 each is being posted. The item contemplated for procurement of repair requires Government source approval prior to contract award, as the item is flight critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support acquisition via full and open competition. Only the source previously approved by the government for repair of these items will be solicited. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase this item from other than current source. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit the information detailed in the Naval Inventory Control Point (Philadelphia) Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. This brochure identifies technical data required to be submitted based on your companys experience in production of the same or similar item, or if this is an item you have never made. This brochure can be obtained by calling NAVSUP WSS at (215) 697- 4243 or is available on-line at: https://www.navsup.navy.mil/navsup/ourteam/navsupwss/business_opps If your request for source approval is currently being evaluated at the NAVSUP WSS, submit a copy of the cover letter, which forwarded your request for source approval, with your offer. Offers received failing to provide all data required by the Source Approval Brochure or document previous submission of all data required by the Source Approval Brochure will not be considered for award under this solicitation.
