Description

MARKET RESEARCH/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. This advertisement serves to aid in determining market interest and capabilities for this prospective requirement. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for market research purposes ONLY. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJAX) is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of vendors for Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) which is an industrial facility that accomplishes rework, repair, and overhaul of various aircraft, engines, and components located onboard Naval Air Station Jacksonville (NAS Jax), Duval County, Florida. This information will be used to determine the availability of vendors capable of meeting the Government ™s minimum requirements and availability of small businesses capable of providing this commercial requirement. The requirement consists of the cleaning, inspection and repair of the TF34 Compressor Front Spool Stage 3-8. The Compressor Front Spool Stage 3-8 is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and as such is subject to the requirements of the Joint Aeronautical Commanders ™ Group Aviation Critical Safety Item Management Handbook (JACG CSI HB of 16 Mar 2011). ** REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION** See Attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) It is anticipated that any resulting requirement would be solicited as a firm-fixed-price (FFP) requirements type contract, with a NAICS code of 488190 and size standard of $32.5 million dollars. Respondents shall provide a technical capabilities statement in response to this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The technical capabilities statement shall include a cover page containing the organization name, mailing address, website, company size, CAGE code, DUNS number, years in business, affiliate information, parent company, joint venture partners, Government business point-of-contact name, telephone number, and email address as well as a capabilities statement and past performance information pertaining to same or similar work as this requirement. Potential sources must identify their business size/socio economic status (i.e., small business, large business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) certified business, woman-owned business, etc.). Additionally, interested vendors shall provide a list of all current GSA/VA scheduled contracts (if applicable). The response date and time is on or before 1600 EST, 26 August 201. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING A RESPONSE TO THIS REQUEST. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.
