- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Solicitation Number: F7VH106224AQ01 This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.106-1(b) (1) and FAR 6.302-1 for other than full and open competition with Wright Line, LLC. The Kansas Air National Guard, 184 Intelligence Wing, 52955 Jayhawk Drive, McConnell AFB, KS 67221 has a requirement to procure the following items: NOSS Center of Excellence Wright Line Miscellaneous furniture 1. KONWL9D Fpd Arm-Sw Hght Adj Single Fpd lack, Centris Head The 299 NOSS has a mission requirement to purchase one cyber furniture row and docking stations from Wright Line LLC for its Center of Excellence (CoE) room in Building 54. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other will satisfy agency requirements, the Government intends to purchase, on a sole-source basis, a firm fixed price purchase order to Wright Line LLC. Wright Line will provide cyber furniture and computer desk docking equipment for the NOSS CoE, which currently matches the existing furniture in place. This furniture is used specifically for cyber workstations, training, tele- conferencing, and cyber meetings. Each row of cyber stations must identically mirror the other. Only Wright Line furniture will connect to the existing furniture and complete the many viable work stations. Purchasing other or similar manufacturer's furniture will result in non-functional rows of work stations. Market research efforts have indicated that Wright Line furniture systems are the only system that can support the CoE requirement in continued functionality and cost. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 337127 and the Business Size Standard is 500 Employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals nor will a solicitation package be issued. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time, Friday August 26, 2016. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
