- Presolicitation Notice Sole Source "intent" synopsis The U.S. Department of State, Office of Acquisition Management (AQM) intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for the acquisition of custom carpeting to Mohawk Carpet Distribution Inc. The proposed purchase order is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This specific product was chosen for its aesthetics and no other product will meet the unique design and style needed. The specific design features meet RDF's stringent representational standards. The specific design features coordinate with the unique architectural details, the environment, and the existing conditions of the Chief of Mission Residence in Oslo..
