This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. Proposals are being requested for Request for Quote (RFQ), VA528-16-Q-0377 for the following: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center in Albany, New York requires the purchase of parking lot lights as listed in the attached Request for Quote. There is NO installation requirement for this procurement action. The appropriate NAICS Code is: 335129 Other Equipment Lighting Manufacturing (Street Lighting Fixtures Manufacturing) Please note: This combined synopsis/solicitation is restricted to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB). Vendors who do not fall under either one of these socioeconomic categories need not respond. Solicitation VA528-16-Q-0377 is issued by Network Contracting Office 2, VA Medical Center, 76 Veterans Avenue, Bath, NY 14810, who anticipates not conducting discussions with offerors submitting quotations under the subject solicitation and reserves the right to make contract award based on the initial offer submitted. Requirements may be added by future amendments to this solicitation. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. This is an open market solicitation, SDVOSB/VOSB set-aside. Interested vendors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Responses should address how you will meet the Government's needs according to the description below. Please include information that specifically addresses the technical requirements.
