- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for NGD9 Castable Urethane Polymer. The NAICS code is 325211, Plastics Material and Resin Manufacturing, and the business size standard is 1,250 employees. The contract will be awarded on an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) bases, over a period of 36 months DESCRIPTION: FY17 MIN = 10,800 OZ (minimum is the smallest order quantity) MAX = 151,200 OZ FY18 MIN = 10,800 OZ (minimum is the smallest order quantity) MAX = 151,200 OZ FY19 MIN = 10,800 OZ (minimum is the smallest order quantity) MAX = 151,200 OZ The Government, NSWCCD West Bethesda, Maryland intends to solicit this requirement on a sole source basis to Goodrich Corporation. Pursuant to FAR 13.106(b)(1) & FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: Goodrich Corporation is only one vendor is capable of meeting the Navy requirements. Potential sources may submit their interest in this requirement with their capability statements no later than 08:00 12 September 2016. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
