Description

The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia, intends to solicit on a sole source basis with Pyramid Solutions, Inc. of Bingham Farms, MI to provide Navy Personnel Command with 100 user licenses of Pyramid Solution ™s PX for Content “ Document Split/Merge for ICN-CM8 commercial software plug-in and four (4) 12-month option periods for annual maintenance and support. Pyramid Solutions is the only source for a commercial, off-the-shelf plug-in that is compatible with IBM ™s Content Navigator (CN) user interface to IBM ™s CM8 content management system that will provide NPC with the needed capability to perform document split/merge. The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm, Fixed Price type order. This procurement is a sole source acquisition with Pyramid Solutions, Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541511. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 30 August 2015. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
