Description

The F-35 Joint Program Office intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-14-G-0020 on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Fort Worth, TX (CAGE: 81755) for a white paper submission explaining a possible solution to a Mission Data File tool set for a Foreign Military Sale (FMS) customer. The proposed order is anticipated to be awarded no later than 31 October 2016. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and in accordance with Class Justification and Approval, approved 14 October 2014. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
